Job Description
Senior Scheduler planning EPC power-plant project timelines for GE Vernova. Developing tender, ITO, and integrated engineering, procurement, and construction schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Develop schedules for turn-key, self-implemented, turnkey-with-partner, EO, and EEP projects
- Perform ITO schedule analysis for EO/EEP projects
- Work with Commercial and relevant functions to optimize schedules while managing key risks
- Integrate Product Line inputs during ITO and collaborate with Project functions during execution
- Define payment milestones and prepare cash flows for partners’ scope
- Define scheduling strategies and prepare mitigation action plans
- Lead scheduling discussions during Risk/Gate reviews
- Support ITO teams during customer and EPC clarification and negotiation phases
- Ensure handover of tender schedules to OTR regional/Pole teams
- Develop the integrated EPC project control schedule (MTS) with scope owners
- Build and maintain ITO scheduling project templates by plant configuration
- Maintain current durations and a registry of historical lead times and lessons learned
- Support project schedulers with MTS development
- Support NPI programs and develop optimized schedules with Product Leadership and Engineering
- Prepare and update scheduling processes
Requirements:
- Bachelors from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience
- Strong experience in project management, site scheduling & project scheduling
- Relevant experience in Project Control Planning & Scheduling function within an EPC environment using Planning/Scheduling tools and programs
- Prior experience process for Gas Combined cycle projects
- Knowledge of power plant principles and work processes in an engineering, procurement, and construction environment
- Experience MS Projects, MS office, Oracle Primavera P6
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
- Experience with globally based project teams
- Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and other responsibilities, and adjust to changing priorities
- Ability to support multiple internal customers and partners with competing priorities in a matrixed environment
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems quickly with available information
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), and influencing skills
- High say/do ratio
