Job Description
Senior Revenue Accountant managing revenue guarantees, remittances, and invoices for NorthStar Anesthesia. Collaborating with finance teams to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for calculating the revenue guarantees and true-ups accurately and timely
- Prepare all 85/15 remittances and invoices
- Calculate and post the monthly management fees
- Update the SNAFF/FFS forecast and track actuals
- Prepare and post subcash allocations
- Prepare and post bad debt allocations for Capio
- Perform reconciliations of the Balance Sheet accounts
- Provide information to the Financial Planning & Analysis and Operations team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-5 years of accounting background
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills is required
- Healthcare experience preferred but not required
- An understanding of contracts and the healthcare revenue cycle is preferred but not required
- Solid understanding of GAAP and ability to do accounting research to find solutions for accounting issues.
- Experience with Great Plains is a plus.
