Job Description

Senior Sales Director supporting GE Aerospace’s Electric Power & Propulsion business. Identifying growth opportunities and leading sales campaigns to meet customer needs in aerospace and ground vehicle markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct major cross functional campaigns and pursuits for the Electric Power business.
  • Responsible for account ownership, delivering growth on key strategic priorities and financial metrics.
  • Focus on traditional electrical power systems and LRUs, to include power generation, distribution, conversion, and integration.
  • Provide sales & commercial excellence leadership for the Power Conversion & Controls business unit.
  • Key customers accounts include military and civil aircraft OEMs, government organizations, and universities.
  • Build influential relationships with assigned customers at all levels and develop strategies to win profitable business.
  • Execute FLIGHT DECK, using standard work and daily management, developing capture and action plans to deliver growth wins for the Power business.
  • Partner with product line team to support production volume, customer engagements, and prioritization of pursuits.
  • Manage the development of numerous, complex, multi-million-dollar proposal efforts.
  • Partner with Contracts & Product leadership in negotiations as needed to close deals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, OR in lieu of a degree: a HS diploma/GED and 4+ years of relevant experience or equivalent military experience/training.
  • At least 8 years of experience in aerospace / defense industry business development, sales, marketing, commercial operations or program/account management.
  • Must be willing to travel 25%-50% to meet job requirements.
