Job Description
Senior Consultant in ServiceNow ITAM/SAM focusing on client solutions and software compliance. Leading development and mentoring within EY's global team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead ServiceNow ITAM/SAM development and implementation activities, ensuring alignment with client requirements
- Design, develop and configure Software Asset Management (SAM Pro) solutions including software normalization, reconciliation, and compliance tracking
- Implement and customize ITAM modules covering hardware asset management (HAM) and software asset lifecycle processes
- Build and enhance workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and Flow Designer solutions specific to ITAM processes
- Define and implement software license management models (subscription, perpetual, SaaS, cloud licensing)
- Lead integration of ServiceNow with discovery tools, procurement systems, Active Directory, and software vendors
- Configure and maintain software catalog, entitlements, contracts, and license metrics
- Drive automation for software compliance, reclamation, and optimization
- Act as a Dev Lead, mentoring team members and ensuring high-quality delivery
- Perform code reviews, design validation, and enforce development best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate SAM requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Support audit readiness, compliance reporting, and vendor true-up activities
- Develop dashboards and reports for license usage, compliance posture, and cost savings
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SAM and ITAM implementations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
- Approximately 6–10 years of IT experience, with significant experience in ServiceNow ITAM/SAM
- Proven experience as a Senior Developer or Dev Lead in ITAM/SAM implementations
- ServiceNow CSA certification (mandatory)
- ServiceNow CIS – Software Asset Management (preferred/mandatory depending on role)
- ITIL Foundation certification (preferred)
