Job Description
Senior Specialist, Business Development for L3Harris' Missile Solutions Segment. Driving growth, supporting business development, and cultivating key relationships in government agencies and industry.
Responsibilities:
- drive growth and expand market opportunities for the Missile Solutions (MS) Segment
- support business development and capture for assigned Advanced Programs and related priority captures and pursuits
- conduct significant customer and stakeholder engagements to cultivate relationships with key individuals in U.S. Government agencies
- conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for business or program expansion
- establish win strategies and partner with MS Center of Excellence representatives to capture opportunities.
- maintain an understanding of customer requirements, plans, strategies, etc.
- develop, execute, and maintain capture strategies/plans.
- identify and guide Program Teams on issues impacting Strategic and Priority Pursuits.
- build and maintain accurate customer relations pursuit and program status entries
- maintain accurate Orders book with related risk and opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant Business Development experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related Business Development experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related Business Development experience.
- Business Development experience in the missile propulsion and energetics market with deep understanding of market dynamics, customer requirements, and competitive landscapes.
- Experience with Defense programs ranging from complex acquisition and development, to qualification and production.
- Ability to direct and control overall organizational resources; considerable initiative, organizational skills; and the ability to drive convergence and resolution to challenges of substantial importance to MS.
- Contact network with U.S. Government customers/stakeholders, missile, and munitions Prime contractors.
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
