Job Description
Manage end-to-end workflows for global colocation infrastructure at Akamai. Collaborate across business, finance, and engineering for operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end workflows for global colocation infrastructure
- Establish operational visibility and process consistency from demand to supply planning
- Define and execute system requirements and business processes for colocation infrastructure
- Identify operational bottlenecks and deliver data-backed solutions
- Build, revise, and adjust models to capture demand and coordinate critical inputs
- Translate physical infrastructure constraints into planning models
- Align and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to follow established workflows
- Own data controls and reporting frameworks for colocation modeling
- Partner with Anaplan modelers and analytics teams to translate operational workflows
- Use SQL to query backend databases and audit inputs
Requirements:
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree {Business, Systems Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, MIS} or equivalent
- Track record of designing structured, automated workflows and data flows
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making data-driven decisions
- Proven experience coordinating matrixed teams (Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance)
- Proficiency with SQL for database querying and validation
- Experience using enterprise planning or visualization tools (ideally Anaplan and/or Tableau)
- Solid knowledge of data center capacity planning and physical infrastructure parameters
- Solid data storytelling skills
