Job Description
Senior Systems Engineer for telecommunications managing infrastructure. Responsible for oversight, performance monitoring, and providing technical support.
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of hardware and software systems
- Proactively monitor for bottlenecks
- Partner with QA and Dev teams
- Manage backup protocols
- Provide Tier 2 support
- Coordinate with external partners
- Maintain 24/7 proactive monitoring
Requirements:
- A degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Solid experience with Linux command line
- Familiarity with core protocols (DNS, NAT, IPSEC, etc.)
- Ability to script in Bash or Python
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Genuine interest in Infrastructure, Systems, or DevOps
- Experience with Virtual Machines or Containers (Docker) is a plus
