Job Description

ServiceNow Architect overseeing architectural design and governance in enterprise environments. Requires strong expertise in ITOM and ITSM within the ServiceNow platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and evolve the ServiceNow platform architecture, ensuring consistency, governance, and adherence to corporate standards
  • Lead the implementation and evolution of ITSM and ITOM modules, ensuring high availability, performance, and solution quality
  • Design and implement solutions using ITOM Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across ITSM processes (Incident, Change, Problem, CMDB/Asset, Service Catalog, Virtual Agent, SLAs, and Analytics)
  • Establish development, customization, and integration standards for the ServiceNow platform
  • Lead integrations with enterprise systems using APIs, MID Server, IntegrationHub, and other platform capabilities
  • Manage platform upgrades, ensuring compatibility, risk mitigation, and controlled evolution
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, security, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Ensure technical quality through code reviews and adherence to best practices in scripting, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Flow Designer
  • Support CMDB governance, service modeling, and dependency mapping initiatives

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with the ServiceNow platform, including development, configuration, and solution implementation
  • Proven experience in ITOM and ITSM within enterprise environments
  • Hands-on experience with ITOM Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management
  • Solid experience with ITSM processes and modules:
  • Incident Management
  • Change Management
  • Problem Management
  • Configuration Management (CMDB) and Asset Management
  • Service Catalog and Request Management
  • Virtual Agent
  • SLAs
  • Reporting and Performance Analytics
  • Advanced knowledge of Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and ServiceNow scripting capabilities
  • Experience with integrations (REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, MID Server)
  • Experience with platform upgrades and activation/configuration of new features
  • Mandatory certifications:
  • ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator)
  • ServiceNow CIS ITOM (Discovery, Event Management, or Service Mapping)
