Job Description
ServiceNow Developer at 9th Way Insignia designing and implementing solutions for the USPTO. Customizing applications and integrating systems within ServiceNow platform.
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions based on business requirements.
- Customize ServiceNow applications, including workflows, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and ACLs.
- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Implement ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SecOps, and CMDB.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and releases in coordination with ServiceNow best practices.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analyst, and stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and demo completed configurations.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system design and configuration guides.
- Troubleshoot issues, debug scripts, and provide ongoing support to ensure platform stability.
- Follow Agile development methodologies and participate in sprints, standups, and retrospectives.
- Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow features, releases, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or 5 years equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, Jelly, AngularJS).
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and OAuth.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, and Business Rules.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and how they align with ServiceNow ITSM.
