  • Manage session pacing to meet recording targets while maintaining performance quality

  • Create a supportive, low-pressure environment for performers with varying experience levels

Requirements:

  • Experience directing, coaching, or producing voice or audio talent, such as voice direction, casting direction, audio/podcast production, dubbing/ADR, or theater direction
  • Demonstrated ability to give clear, specific, actionable performance direction
  • Strong working knowledge of basic recording/mic technique, including proximity, plosives, room noise, and levels
  • Comfortable improvising and adjusting scripted material on the spot
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport quickly with performers of varying experience levels
  • Approximately 8 hours of calibration plus supervision across two recording sessions of approximately 4 hours each per participant
  • Background in improv, theater direction, or acting coaching preferred but not required
  • Experience directing non-professional or first-time voice talent preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with DAWs or recording software such as Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, or Reaper preferred but not required

Benefits:

  • Project-based opportunities with flexible availability
  • Fully remote work with complete autonomy
  • Optional access to AI and Large Language Model workshops
  • Responsive guidance and support from a global contributor community
  • Opportunity to influence AI systems and expand professional skills
