Job Description
Strategic Account Executive managing large employer clients in healthcare to drive retention and expansion. Building relationships and ensuring clients achieve real value from our health solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Own a portfolio of large, strategic employer clients and drive retention + expansion growth
- Build real relationships with stakeholders — from day-to-day contacts to executive leaders
- Lead renewals end-to-end: strategy, positioning, negotiation, and close
- Identify opportunities to expand into new populations, products, and lines of business
- Turn client goals and challenges into clear, actionable account plans
- Lead business reviews that go beyond reporting — using data to guide strategy and next steps
- Translate health data, claims insights, and engagement trends into meaningful recommendations
- Partner cross-functionally (product, clinical, operations) to deliver for your clients
- Keep a tight handle on pipeline, forecasting, and deal execution in Salesforce
- Stay ahead of risks — whether it’s client satisfaction, contract obligations, or renewal health
Requirements:
- 8+ years in account management, sales, or client leadership — ideally in healthcare or digital health
- Experience working with large, complex employer clients
- Strong understanding of employee benefits, self-funded plans, and the healthcare ecosystem
- Proven ability to retain and grow accounts (renewals + expansion)
- Comfortable leading executive-level conversations and influencing decision-makers
- A consultative mindset — you ask the right questions and connect solutions to real problems
- Confidence working with data and using it to tell a story or shape strategy
- Ability to navigate complexity — internally and with clients
- Familiarity with tools like Salesforce and Microsoft Office
