Job Description

Student Assistant in IT Operations providing 1st Line IT Support at fintech company, assisting with IT queries, user onboarding, and cloud technology exploration.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for colleagues with IT questions and issues — helping them get back on track quickly and professionally.
  • Help welcome new employees by setting up their equipment and accounts, and assist with smooth off-boarding procedures.
  • Help maintain meeting rooms and shared equipment so everything works seamlessly during events and meetings.
  • Assist with tracking hardware and managing user access following best practices.
  • Create and update knowledge base articles so solutions are easy to find and reuse.
  • Get your hands on Azure cloud technologies — a great opportunity to grow your cloud skills in a real business setting.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an IT-related degree (IT support, IT administration, computer science, or similar).
  • A basic understanding of IT, networks, and how systems connect.
  • Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and/or Microsoft 365 applications.
  • A service-oriented mindset — you genuinely enjoy helping colleagues and making their day easier.
  • Good written and spoken English skills.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn, especially in cloud and automation.
  • Some experience with Intune, SharePoint, or Dynamics 365.
  • Interest in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Graph API, etc.).
  • Any prior IT support experience — even informal or from studies.
