Job Description
Systems Avionics Engineer supporting the design and integration of aircraft avionics systems. Collaborating with engineering teams to ensure safety and regulatory compliance in aerospace applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop avionics systems including communication, navigation, and flight control systems
- Define system architecture, interfaces, and functional requirements
- Support system integration within the aircraft electrical and avionics architecture
- Integrate avionics systems with other aircraft systems such as electrical power, flight control, and cockpit displays
- Validate system compatibility and performance across the aircraft platform
- Coordinate with hardware, software, and mechanical engineering teams
- Develop and manage system requirements using engineering tools
- Ensure requirements traceability from design to verification
- Support system-level documentation and design reviews
- Develop test procedures and verification plans
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Avionics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Avionics system architecture and integration
- Aircraft electrical systems
- Systems engineering and analytical thinking
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting
- Technical documentation and reporting
- Knowledge of avionics software and hardware integration
- Experience with avionics integration and certification processes
