Job Description
Stannah Stairlift Engineer servicing and repairing domestic lifts across Birmingham for a global lift manufacturer. Managing field routes, safety checks, and on-call visits.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance, repair, and call-out visits on various types of stairlifts and home lifts
- Provide high-quality service while maintaining safety standards
- Perform effective risk assessments
- Maintain site log cards
- Participate in the on-call rota
- Manage a service route across Birmingham and surrounding areas
- Service, maintain, and repair stairlifts, micro-lifts, and goods lifting equipment
- Develop skills and experience on the domestic side of the lift industry
Requirements:
- Qualified Domestic Engineer with stairlift and home lift experience
- NVQ level 2 in Lift Engineering or equivalent preferred; training to NVQ level 2 available for the right candidate
- Proven experience as a Stairlift Engineer or Domestic Engineer within the lift industry
- Valid UK driving licence
- Passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Appropriate right to work must be held
- Sponsorship is not available
- Availability for stated working hours: 8:00–4:45 Monday to Thursday and 8:00–3:45 Friday
- Willingness to participate in the on-call rota
