Job Description
Team Lead Performance Marketing leading Search strategy, automation, and analytics for Kaufland’s international online marketplace. Managing a Search team and scalable PPC campaigns across storefronts.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Search team and support team growth through regular feedback and development conversations
- Translate company goals and OKRs into clear team goals, strategies, and actions
- Drive continuous development of the Search area, including campaign structure, bidding strategies, automation, AI-driven developments, and Search campaign innovations such as AI Max
- Oversee account setup across different storefronts using tools such as Search Ads 360
- Maintain scalable and efficient account and campaign structures
- Initiate and lead cross-team projects, especially around automation and marketing technology
- Coordinate project participants and drive project execution
- Build regular reports using BI and analytics tools
- Turn results into clear, actionable next steps
- Build and improve processes around automation, scripts, and structured testing within the team
Requirements:
- Successfully completed a technical, scientific, or economics degree
- Leadership experience
- Experience handling complex Search Ads accounts in an e-commerce setting
- Regular use of online marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, and BigQuery
- Regular use of PPC advertising tools such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Search Ads 360
- Understanding of scripts and automation for SEA processes, with ability to translate potential into concrete team actions
- GenAI proficiency, including tools such as ChatGPT and Claude, and ability to develop own use cases
- Excellent understanding of mathematical, analytical, and technical subjects
- Structured, reliable, and independent working style
- Fluent English at C1 level
- German language skills are a plus
