Job Description

Technical Service Support Specialist supporting McKesson’s RetinaOS inventory platform for healthcare clinics. Troubleshooting customer issues, guiding workflows, and coordinating technical resolutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and resolutions related to RetinaOS
  • Respond to incoming customer support requests in a timely manner and empower customers to self-serve when possible
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues involving inventory management, application functionality, and system usage
  • Educate customers on RetinaOS features, workflows, and best practices
  • Manage support cases from intake through resolution with accurate documentation and timely follow-up
  • Collaborate with McKesson functions and external vendors on purchasing, distribution, integrations, and other broader issues
  • Escalate technical issues and feature requests with summaries, analysis, documentation, and business context
  • Maintain customer relationships through proactive communication, accountability, and positive customer outcomes
  • Identify recurring issues, support trends, and process or product improvement opportunities
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Document troubleshooting procedures, known issues, and resolutions for internal knowledge resources
  • Analyze support requests, customer relationships, and application areas generating unusually high support volumes

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience
  • 2+ years of technical support for customer-facing products
  • 2+ years of experience supporting customer-facing software applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding of software applications
  • Comfortable troubleshooting technical issues related to the RetinaOS platform
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Customer-centric mindset; empathy, patience, and professionalism
  • Ability to manage multiple customer inquiries and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to collaborate with different departments
  • Accountability, ownership, and attention to detail
  • Preferred experience supporting SaaS or healthcare technology solutions
  • Familiarity with inventory management, specialty pharmaceutical operations, or clinical workflow systems would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of EMR/EHR or practice management systems
  • Experience utilizing ticketing or case management systems
  • Experience interpreting application data and troubleshooting workflow-related issues
