Job Description
Vice President leading Youth Advocate Programs’ Northeast/Mid-Atlantic human services programs. Managing participant services, staff, budgets, quality improvement, and regional operations.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall development and administration of programs in the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Coverage area, including Delaware County, Philadelphia, Delaware, and New Jersey
- Provide participant services
- Manage personnel and motivate staff
- Manage budgets, financials, and operational outcomes across multiple programs and regions
- Continue development of the agency and maintain quality and quality improvement
- Carry out the mission of Youth Advocate Programs, Inc.
- Work with state agencies, county governments, managed care organizations, school districts, and funding and referral sources
- Travel frequently throughout the assigned Mid-Atlantic area
Requirements:
- Master’s degree preferred
- Strong leadership skills with proven experience in the management and motivation of staff
- Commensurate experience in community-based agency programs such as advocate services, community reintegration/re-entry, and alternative to detention/aftercare knowledge
- Preferred experience in a senior leadership role overseeing and managing budgets, financials, and operational outcomes over multiple programs and regions
- Experience working with state agencies, county governments, managed care, school districts, and other funding and referral sources is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other database software systems
- Knowledge of an Electronic Health Record System (EHR) is a plus
- Reliable, insured transportation
- Current auto insurance coverage
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum of 5 years of senior-level management experience overseeing multiple programs and regions
- Minimum 5 or more years of leadership experience in human services, behavioral health, child welfare, juvenile justice, education, or a related field
- Advanced bilingual/Spanish speaking is preferred as a plus
