Job Description

Virtual Nurse Practitioner delivering evidence-based telehealth for One Medical, a primary care provider. Treating patients through triage calls, video visits, and email follow-ups.

Responsibilities:

  • Treat patients via telehealth visits, including telephonic triage calls, video visit appointments, and email follow-ups
  • Participate in continuous learning through weekly Clinical Rounds and other modalities
  • Collaborate with virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles
  • Apply specific clinical training to provide exceptional virtual patient care
  • Provide virtual clinical care in concert with patients’ primary care providers
  • Support 24/7, 365-day virtual medical care through a team-based approach

Requirements:

  • Completed an accredited FNP program with a national certification
  • In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), OR 2 years in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
  • Currently licensed in WA with ability to obtain additional state licenses
  • Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts, including every other Saturday and/or Sunday
  • Availability for shifts ranging from 7am–6pm PST and 1pm–12am PST
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills
  • Passion for human-centered primary care
  • Ability to communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
  • Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care
  • Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
  • Desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery
  • Openness to feedback and reflection
  • Ability to navigate uncertain situations with patients and colleagues
  • Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet patient needs
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
