Job Description
Project Manager leading warehouse automation, conveyor, robotics, and material handling implementations for MHS Lift. Managing customer projects from concept through completion across industrial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Define project scope and objectives with customers, sales, engineering, and executive leadership
- Manage implementation of warehouse automation and integrated material handling systems
- Coordinate cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams, vendors, and customers
- Manage project documentation, reporting, and closeout activities
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers throughout implementation
- Support continuous improvement and drive adoption of project management best practices across the organization
- Oversee projects from concept through completion while exceeding customer expectations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical discipline
- 5+ years of project management experience in automation, material handling, warehouse systems, robotics, AMRs/AGVs, conveyor systems, or related industrial environments
- Experience managing technical design and system implementation projects
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings, CAD layouts, and system designs
- Strong understanding of warehouse automation and material handling technologies
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for business travel
- Approximately 50% travel: 25% local/regional and 25% national
- PMP certification is a plus
- Preferred experience with warehouse automation systems, conveyor systems, robotics, AGVs, AMRs, and distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain operations
- Unable to sponsor H1B visas
