Job Description

Account Development Representative building DACH pipeline through outbound prospecting. Selling Samsara’s Connected Operations IoT platform via calls, email, LinkedIn, and events.

Responsibilities:

  • Build pipeline for the DACH business through personalized outreach to prospects by phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Generate new opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting
  • Attend trade shows and events to represent Samsara and connect with prospective customers and partners
  • Become a product expert and learn Samsara’s sales methodology
  • Document all account interactions carefully in Salesforce.com CRM
  • Represent, model, and embed Samsara’s culture principles while the company grows globally
  • Participate in ADR career progression, training, mentoring, sales-skills development, and certifications
  • At higher ADR levels, support Account Executives, execute territory plans, attend strategy meetings, and plan or participate in customer demos

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of professional experience, ideally in customer-facing roles
  • At least 6–12 months of sales experience
  • High motivation and commitment to working in goal-oriented sales
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding goals or expectations in previous roles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Curiosity and ability to ask insightful questions
  • Strong advocate of a growth mindset
  • Very good English skills and fluent German skills
  • Experience in closing sales roles preferred
  • Demonstrated achievements beyond work, such as in studies, sports, or volunteering, preferred
  • Willingness to collaborate and influence others in a “Win as a Team” environment
  • Enthusiasm for solving new problems innovatively
  • Motivation to help build a fast-growing IoT and SaaS company
  • Must reside in Germany, France, the Netherlands, or the United Kingdom
  • Must work CET hours
  • No relocation support offered
