Job Description

Account Director managing client relationships and digital strategies for a nonprofit marketing agency. Seeking candidates with a background in client management and digital marketing strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with our largest clients to accelerate their growth and impact
  • Understand clients' business model and clients’ industry/issue area
  • Lead multi-platform paid and owned media strategies for large, complex client accounts
  • Advance a metrics-driven performance culture across campaigns
  • Manage all client objectives, expectations and timelines
  • Responsible for all client financials
  • Identify potential account and/or project risks/issues and develops contingency plans
  • Provide senior-level review of major deliverables for strategic alignment
  • Partner with project management and other agency teams/resources to manage the production and delivery of great work

Requirements:

  • 7-10+ years of client management and digital marketing strategy (preferably at an agency)
  • Experience in the nonprofit space (either direct involvement working at a nonprofit organization, or experience working with nonprofit clients)
  • Passion for driving meaningful results for clients
  • Hunger to continue learning in the ever changing digital world
  • Ability to problem solve to overcome any challenge
  • Passion for helping teammates succeed
  • Strong desire to change the world
  • Leads the full client relationship, overarching and cross-channel digital strategy
  • Strong working knowledge of marketing platforms and tools including CRMs, analytics, fundraising platforms
  • Capable of effectively leading 8+ concurrent accounts and projects
