Job Description
Account Executive optimizing energy use and promoting sustainability solutions at EnergyCAP. Engaging with clients to drive sales and enhance their sustainability goals through software.
Responsibilities:
- Owning the sales cycle — from prospecting to close — driving consistent growth and exceeding quarterly and annual goals
- Building trust and credibility with decision-makers across both public and private sectors
- Becoming an expert in EnergyCAP’s software platform
- Acting as a strategic advisor, uncovering client pain points and crafting tailored solutions
- Collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, customer success, and product teams
- Representing EnergyCAP at industry events, conferences, and webinars
Requirements:
- 5+ years of successful SaaS sales experience, with a proven ability to meet and exceed goals
- Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills
- Experience selling into diverse markets (public sector, private sector, or both)
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and digital tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and webinar platforms
- Strong business acumen and a consultative mindset
- Confidently engages and communicates with C-level executives
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience or familiarity with energy, sustainability, or utility management is a plus.
