Job Description
Account Manager retaining and expanding Halter’s virtual fencing customers across Northern Victoria. Supporting farm deployments, farmer success, technical problem-solving, and agricultural community growth.
Responsibilities:
- Own retention, renewals, and expansion targets for Halter’s existing regional revenue
- Help farmers extract full value from Halter and understand its impact on their farming business
- Renew customer agreements and expand revenue from existing customers
- Support onboarding, training, and implementation of the Halter system on customers’ farms
- Ensure farm owners, managers, and workers can successfully use the system
- Build genuine, trustworthy relationships with farmers, their teams, and families
- Partner strategically with customers to establish business goals, timelines, priorities, and success metrics
- Provide prompt communication and support to farmers and team members
- Address technical and operational challenges
- Represent the Halter brand in the community
- Lead local discussion groups and build networks to increase brand visibility and connections
- Act as the customer voice and bridge customer context to product teams
- Provide product teams with technical and practical advice from a farmer’s perspective on reproduction, pasture, and agronomy
- Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues
- Role model Halter’s Operating Principles
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in relationship management/account management roles
- Experience in dairy farming or within the agriculture sector
- Deep passion for helping farmers succeed
- Strong business acumen
- Positive attitude and collaborative team player
- Ability to overcome challenges
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced working environment
- Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy
- Hunger for success and personal growth
- Eagerness to evolve alongside a world-class team
- Must be based in Northern Victoria
- Extensive travel required through the state
