Job Description

Account Manager focusing on technical plastics sales in Bavaria, including Munich and Austria. Building customer relationships and analyzing industry trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales of technical plastics within the specified sales territory
  • Lead ownership: You take responsibility for leads across the entire sales cycle and systematically carry out all related sales process activities
  • Pipeline management: You build a balanced pipeline of tactical opportunities and strategic engagements
  • Market research and analysis: You conduct research and gather market data and information to analyze short- and long-term trends
  • Product lifecycle analysis: You analyze the product lifecycle and market trends to secure and expand the product’s competitive position
  • Networking: You establish and maintain close, personal, and partnership-based relationships with customers and build a strong network within the sales territory
  • Trend monitoring: You follow the latest trends in the plastics industry to ensure we remain at the pulse of the market

Requirements:

  • Completed vocational training or degree in business administration, engineering, chemistry, or a related field
  • Deep product knowledge of technical plastics
  • A strong passion for sales and building long-term customer relationships
  • Ability to identify customer needs and develop solutions from our wide product portfolio
  • Proven experience in B2B sales
  • Ideally, additional experience in the plastics, electrical, or automotive (Tier 2) industries
  • Willingness to be frequently on the road; you view regular travel within your sales territory as a positive part of your work
  • Interest in following new trends in your market
  • Able to work independently within your sales territory while being a collaborative team player with colleagues
  • Good German and solid English skills complete your profile
