Job Description
Account Manager driving sales of technical plastics in Bavaria and Austria. Building client relationships and maintaining market trends within the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Sales of technical plastics within the specified sales territory
- Responsibility for leads: You take ownership of leads throughout the entire sales cycle and systematically execute all associated sales process activities
- Pipeline management: You build a balanced pipeline of tactical opportunities and strategic engagements
- Market research and analysis: You conduct research and gather market data and information to analyze short- and long-term trends
- Product lifecycle analyses: You analyze the product lifecycle and market trends to secure and expand the product's competitive position
- Network building: You establish and maintain close, personal, and partner-style relationships with customers and build a strong network within the sales territory
- Trend monitoring: You follow and accompany the latest trends in the plastics industry to ensure we consistently act in step with the market
Requirements:
- Completed vocational training or degree in business administration, engineering, chemistry, or a comparable field
- You have deep product knowledge of technical plastics
- You are passionate about sales and building long-term customer relationships
- You easily identify customer needs and develop solutions for them using our broad product range
- You have already gained valuable experience in B2B sales
- Ideally, you have additional experience in the plastics, electrical, or automotive industry (Tier 2)
- You enjoy being "on the road" and view regular travel within your sales territory as an enriching part of your work
- You enjoy tracking new trends in your market
- You work independently in your sales territory while being a team player in collaboration with your colleagues
- Good German and solid English skills complete your profile
