Job Description
Account Manager for Uniware Systems Limited, responsible for selling software and services. Generate sales through client networking and ensure sales targets are met.
Responsibilities:
- Selling Software, Hardware and Services
- Ensure agreed sales targets are met or exceeded
- Generate sales through direct selling to the existing client base
- Conduct sales campaigns and network with industry contacts
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the Company’s product portfolio
- Report on industry trends to Product Management and Marketing
- Maintain and develop the Company’s CRM database
- Assist with lead generation activities
- Qualify and manage leads through to sales conversion
- Respond to and follow up on sales enquiries
- Develop and maintain a qualified sales pipeline
- Negotiate and close sales
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships in the industry
- Attend company meetings, conferences, seminars, and trade shows
- Attend product briefings on new and existing modules.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience selling software solutions, ideally within payments sector
- Hold a degree or relevant qualification is desirable
- Proven record of over achievement of sales targets in new business sales
- Relevant professional sales training and methodology
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to close sales
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation communications skills
- The ability to build and foster business relationships
- Good understanding of technology and how it is applied in business
- A moderate to high degree of computer literacy and technical competency
- Demonstrable evidence of organising customer accounts and projection implementation
- A desire to solve customer problems
- An ability to maintain focus and deal appropriately with knock backs.
