Job Description
Accountant managing reporting, reconciliations and compliance for Binance, a global blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency exchange. Transforming Finance through AI, automation, data and technology.
Responsibilities:
- Manage financial and management reporting, including cash flow, tax, GST, budgeting and statutory reporting
- Prepare and review annual reports, statutory accounts and management reports
- Perform and review revenue, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and corporate governance requirements
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents and external advisors
- Identify and deliver opportunities to automate, simplify and transform finance processes
- Leverage AI, GenAI, automation, data analytics and technology to improve accounting efficiency, accuracy and scalability
- Partner with Finance Systems, Data, Engineering and business teams to implement technology-enabled finance solutions
- Lead or support process improvement and finance transformation initiatives
- Translate complex accounting requirements into practical, scalable solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy / Finance, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
- 8+ years' relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, consulting or finance transformation
- Strong technical accounting, analytical and reconciliation skills
- Experience in finance transformation, automation or consulting is highly preferred
- Strong interest in AI, GenAI, automation, data and emerging finance technologies
- Advanced MS Excel skills; ERP, BI, workflow automation or financial systems experience is a plus
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and project management skills
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Highly detail-oriented, curious and willing to challenge the status quo
