Job Description
Accounting Manager leading a team of Senior Accounting Specialists at Uplinq Inc. Focusing on accuracy, mentoring talent, and overseeing client handoffs in a modern accounting firm.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the performance and deliverables of Senior Accounting Specialists
- Conduct regular reviews of client books
- Build, document, and refine SOPs and workflows
- Mentor team members in accrual accounting, job costing, inventory, and class/location reporting
- Act as an escalation point for complex client issues
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and strengthen integrations
Requirements:
- Active CPA license required
- 7+ years of accounting experience (small business or firm-based)
- At least 3 years supervising or mentoring accounting professionals
- Advanced QuickBooks Online expertise
- Deep knowledge of accrual accounting, GAAP, job costing, inventory, and class/location reporting
- Proven track record of leading teams, improving processes, and driving quality.
