Job Description

Admissions Sales Consultant guiding students and parents into Vanguard College Prep’s premium college-preparation programs. Managing consultative sales, CRM pipelines, and enrollment goals remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct consultative enrollment meetings with prospective students and parents
  • Understand families’ academic goals, challenges, timelines, and priorities
  • Evaluate family needs and recommend the Vanguard program or pathway best suited to the student
  • Explain Vanguard’s methodology, program structure, pricing, expected outcomes, and value
  • Build trust and guide families through high-consideration enrollment decisions
  • Identify and address questions, concerns, and objections
  • Ask qualified families for enrollment and guide them through next steps
  • Achieve monthly enrollment, revenue, and conversion goals
  • Maintain knowledge of Vanguard programs, industry trends, and competitor offerings
  • Own qualified opportunities from initial contact through enrollment and handoff
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of consultations, communications, follow-ups, next steps, and sales activity
  • Follow up with prospective families and re-engage qualified leads
  • Maintain and proactively advance the sales pipeline
  • Monitor sales performance, conversion rates, pipeline value, and progress toward revenue goals
  • Ensure enrolled families transition professionally and seamlessly into onboarding
  • Collaborate with marketing and leadership on lead quality, objections, competitor activity, and family needs
  • Identify referral opportunities and encourage satisfied families to make introductions
  • Support webinars, informational events, and community outreach initiatives
  • Stay informed about standardized testing, college admissions, and the college preparation industry

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 3+ years of consultative sales experience
  • Demonstrated success closing high-ticket products or services
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets
  • Ability to discuss prior quotas, close rates, average deal size, and revenue generated
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Discovery, presentation, objection-handling, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection
  • Professional, distraction-free workspace suitable for video consultations
  • Strong proficiency with Google Workspace
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or GoHighLevel
  • Proficiency with Zoom and other cloud-based business tools
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to explain educational services clearly and impactfully
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Experience meeting organizational revenue goals
  • Experience in the college preparation service industry
