Job Description
Appointment Setter generating qualified sales leads for FIT Solutions, a national IT services firm. Booking appointments, managing CRM records, and handing prospects to sales executives.
Responsibilities:
- Actively seek out and engage customer prospects through prospecting strategies
- Identify prospects, book first-time appointments, and fill the sales pipeline
- Consistently add qualified leads to the pipeline and increase monthly recurring revenue opportunities
- Schedule two qualified appointments daily
- Introduce and hand off prospects to Solutions Executives, vCIO/vCISO, and/or the Executive Team
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Identify and qualify prospective clients through research, networking, and cold calling
- Explain products and services offered and deliver pre-qualified sales leads
- Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments
- Analyze territory/market potential and track sales and status reports in HubSpot and ConnectWise
- Update and maintain customer account records in HubSpot CRM
- Use marketing data and relevant sales management tools to maximize solution effectiveness and efficiency
- Follow up aggressively on business opportunities
- Provide management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential new products and services
- Attend and represent the company at networking and tradeshow events
- Continuously improve through feedback
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in appointment setting, lead generation, inside sales, business development, or a related customer-facing sales role preferred
- Proven experience engaging prospective customers and successfully scheduling qualified appointments or sales meetings
- Experience using CRM platforms, preferably HubSpot, to manage prospects, document activities, and track follow-up
- Experience with outbound prospecting through phone, email, and other communication channels
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business productivity and communication tools
- Experience working in a remote sales environment preferred
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, listening, questioning, time management, organization, and follow-up skills
- Ability to communicate product and service value and tailor messaging to prospect needs
- Ability to accurately document prospect activity, maintain CRM records, and manage follow-up tasks
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a goal-driven environment
- Receptive to coaching and feedback
- Excellent English communication skills, including grammar, pronunciation, comprehension, and professional business communication
- Ability to spend prolonged periods standing, speaking, walking, driving, and/or sitting
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
