Job Description
Assistant Director leading US education staffing recruitment operations and recruiter teams. Optimizing ATS workflows, metrics, candidate experience, and staffing performance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to a team of Recruiters responsible for recruiting and placing professionals throughout the US
- Oversee and optimize end-to-end recruitment processes for efficiency, consistency, and compliance
- Identify and implement workflow improvements
- Develop training, best practices, tools, templates, and resources for recruiters
- Manage recruitment technology, including the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Evaluate recruitment strategies and operations using data and metrics
- Generate reports on recruitment metrics and KPIs
- Lead and supervise recruitment coordinators, administrators, and support staff
- Provide guidance, training, and support to foster a collaborative, high-performance culture
- Monitor department metrics, reporting, production goals, individual performance, and metrics
- Implement performance improvement plans when needed
- Collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, and stakeholders on staffing and recruitment strategies
- Coordinate recruitment operations with other HR functions
- Enhance the candidate journey and resolve concerns affecting field professionals
- Participate in and own interview, selection, and onboarding processes
- Develop strategic initiatives and action plans to meet professional-volume and profit goals
- Align long-term team goals with short-term individual goals
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 5 years of recruitment experience in the service industry and/or business management preferred
- 3 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role required
- Staffing experience required
- Education industry knowledge and experience preferred
- Proficient technical skills and knowledge of computer operations and applications, including MS Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with recruitment technologies, including ATS
- Excellent data analysis and reporting skills
- Ability to identify and address recruitment-process challenges
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Adaptability to changes and emerging recruitment trends
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job
