Job Description

Associate Director managing field technology tools supporting BeOne’s oncology portfolio commercialization in North America. Driving AI-enabled insights, platform adoption, data quality, and cross-functional technology delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic business partner for North America Commercial and Medical Affairs Field Leadership teams
  • Support functional priorities and execution through platform and technology services
  • Build and execute roadmaps for Field insights solutions with local stakeholders
  • Enable and leverage AI solutions in field tools for rapid insights generation and automation
  • Translate local execution strategies into customer and business insight requirements
  • Gather business requirements and work with platform owners and vendors to deliver solutions
  • Oversee reporting operations and data quality for business insights
  • Lead resource allocation and prioritization across regions
  • Collaborate with vendors, developers, and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle
  • Drive adoption and confidence in Field Tools and technology platforms
  • Co-lead training curriculum development and monitor tool utilization
  • Implement technology solutions to streamline territory management, engagement planning, performance tracking, and business reviews
  • Identify automation opportunities for manual business processes
  • Coordinate enhancements across Sales, Market Access, Regional Marketing, and Medical Affairs
  • Oversee release planning, compliance and data privacy reviews, hyper-care support, communications, training, office hours, and change management
  • Drive standardization of Field Tools and functionality across markets
  • Organize cross-functional, multi-workstream initiatives involving technology teams and stakeholder groups
  • Establish project management practices, manage interdependencies, and prioritize resources
  • Oversee technical operations and field support, including access management, platform availability, refreshes, inquiries, communications, outages, upgrades, and maintenance
  • Coordinate with Marketing Promotions teams to make digital content and multimedia available to field teams
  • Lead technical data operations and stewardship, including territory changes, IC credit reassignment, and affiliation changes
  • Build a support team and establish support SLAs and frameworks
  • Ensure integrity, consistency, and quality of reporting and ad hoc analytics layers
  • Enable self-service analytics and custom report development
  • Collaborate on secondary data needs and organize related training and awareness
  • Maintain alignment with business leaders on strategic priorities and emerging needs
  • Promote best practices for platform enhancement and software development lifecycle processes
  • Ensure operational reliability and readiness before production through QA testing, UAT support, and production transition reviews

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of relevant Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry experience, or a Master’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Deep understanding of Commercial and Medical Affairs business applications and technology solutions
  • Good team management skills, both direct and matrix
  • Strong data knowledge with pharmaceutical business knowledge and technical aptitude to define and advance commercial solutions
  • Understanding of best practices around Technology Product Management and Technical Product Support
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment servicing a large number of Field users
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and project management skills
  • Ability to coordinate needs assessments across the commercial organization and deliver comprehensive solutions
  • Ability to work well within a matrixed environment and build solid relationships across the organization
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and solid business acumen
  • Ability to manage and provision large amounts of data to enable business analysis with high performance and trust
  • Ability to articulate complex technical problems and solutions to a wide business audience and communicate solution value
  • Ability to identify operational weakness and implement corrective action or plans
  • Proven ability to grow and develop others
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Information Management, or related field
  • Estimated travel of 10–15%, primarily for key planning sessions, workshops, or major launch initiatives
