Job Description

Director leading McKesson’s US Oncology Network APP strategy, operations, and innovative care models. Optimizing provider integration, patient access, outcomes, and affiliated practice performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, direction, and resource stewardship to The US Oncology Network and its affiliated practices
  • Align APP objectives with affiliated practices’ vision and strategy
  • Collaborate with Network practices, leadership, and McKesson/USON leadership to implement processes and procedures for high-quality comprehensive patient care
  • Lead and develop Network strategy for positioning APPs in innovative care models across geographies, specialties, and care sites
  • Develop and implement methods to achieve Network goals through high-performing care teams, enhanced APP integration, and optimized APP care operations
  • Identify and execute operational and strategic initiatives that optimize support for Network practices
  • Implement models of care that expand practice efficiency using APPs
  • Pilot, scale, and evaluate new models that empower APPs to drive operational efficiency and patient access
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and measure KPIs for APP initiatives
  • Serve as subject matter expert on APP practice
  • Support practices with recruitment and retention activities
  • Analyze and implement best practices to standardize APP utilization
  • Represent APP goals in practice strategic planning sessions
  • Foster transparency, feedback, shared leadership, communication, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
  • Support and participate in APP leadership opportunities, including mentorship
  • Lead and participate in educational opportunities for Network APPs

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Less years required if has relevant Master’s or Doctorate qualifications
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing or PA Studies
  • National Board Certification and Licensure
  • 10+ years of APP professional experience
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in oncology
  • Significant prior leadership experience developing and implementing clinical and business models supporting providers and patients
  • Proven track record of relationship development with key business stakeholders
  • Strong working knowledge of APP utilization across multi-specialties
  • Proven experience managing diverse oncology APP services projects and programs with positive patient outcomes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lead teams through organizational changes and implement new care models
  • Proficiency interpreting financial data, ROI models, and operational metrics
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations to varied audiences
  • Travel up to 25% required
  • Must be authorized to work in the US; sponsorship is not available
