Job Description
AVP responsible for IT Architecture direction and strategic technology vision at DIRECTV. Leading enterprise-wide solutions and collaborating with executive leadership to shape technology future.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee the overall IT Architecture organization, setting vision, priorities, and strategic direction
- Develop and articulate the ideal future target state architecture for all business domains across the enterprise
- Partner with executive team members to align technology strategies with overall organizational goals
- Lead evaluation of strategic business needs across the enterprise and translate them into architectural solutions
- Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential fit within the organizational ecosystem
- Manage financial budgets for the architecture organization with full P&L responsibility
Requirements:
- 10-15 years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or technology leadership roles
- Proven track record of leading large-scale organizational initiatives with enterprise-wide impact
- Extensive experience developing and implementing enterprise architecture strategies
- Demonstrated success in executive-level stakeholder management and influence
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field required
- Master's degree in relevant field preferred
- Enterprise Architecture certifications (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.) highly desirable
