Job Description
Business Development Manager at FlexGen responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the utility sector. Collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver energy storage solutions to large energy users.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
- Developing and executing strategic plans as a key leader within FlexGen
- Working collaboratively across FlexGen to achieve innovative growth agenda
- Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Developing and delivering compelling sales presentations and proposals
- Negotiating complex contracts and agreements with potential clients
- Traveling to customers and project sites (~50+%)
Requirements:
- Experience in business development with utility companies in the distributed energy space
- Strong track record of achieving sales targets
- In-depth understanding of the utility space and industry trends
- Experience with electric power, renewable energy (solar, wind, and battery), industrial communication, or electrical service
- Minimum of BS degree in engineering or technical field
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience, with at least 2 years in sales or business development
- Customer management experience
- High proficiency with Office, Excel, Power Point, and customer resource management programs (i.e. salesforce.com)
