Job Description

Sales & Business Development Manager expanding Objektfunk business for Kontron Transportation. Focusing on customer relations and sales processes in critical infrastructure sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Active expansion of the Objektfunk business (BOS / TETRA) in both new-build and existing-building markets
  • Identification and development of new customer and market opportunities (e.g. tunnels, rail infrastructure, industrial facilities, public buildings)
  • Establishment and maintenance of long-term customer relationships with project owners, operators, planners, installers, authorities and emergency services
  • Management of the entire sales process from opportunity identification to contract conclusion
  • Analysis of customer requirements and development of technical solution concepts in cooperation with Engineering
  • Preparation and coordination of proposals, cost estimates, contracts, as well as service and maintenance concepts
  • Conducting price and contract negotiations and participation in tenders and procurement procedures
  • Market, technology and competitor monitoring in the Objektfunk and BOS environment
  • Close cooperation with internal specialist departments and coordination of external partners
  • Representation of the company to customers, authorities, technical committees and at events

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience in technical sales / business development, ideally in Objektfunk, BOS or critical infrastructure environments
  • Very good understanding of Objektfunk / building radio systems, repeater, BTS and DAS concepts
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g. BDBOS, state authorities, DIN 14024) is an advantage
  • Experience in solution and project sales of complex technical systems
  • Ability to explain and market technical content in a clear and accessible manner
  • Structured, independent and responsible working style
  • Business-fluent German and very good English skills
