Job Description
Billing Specialist managing payment applications and client onboarding for a SaaS company. Collaborating with sales to ensure accurate invoicing and improving processes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, verify and send invoices in accordance with contractual terms and revenue recognition rules;
- Collaborate with Sales and RevOps teams to ensure invoice accuracy for new agreements, renewals and credits;
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices and payments;
- Properly apply incoming payments (bank transfer, card, check, etc.) and resolve discrepancies;
- Manage client onboarding administration: vendor forms, portals, POs, etc.;
- Ensure data is updated in ERP and CRM systems;
- Maintain compliant documentation and keep records audit-ready.
Requirements:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable or sales administration, including experience in a SaaS environment;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities;
- Proficient in Excel and an accounting system (NetSuite is an asset);
- Experience with payment processing systems Recurly and Stripe;
- Comfortable with technology tools, including CRMs like HubSpot and procurement portals;
- Proactive, team-oriented and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Montreal once per week.
