Job Description

Business Development Manager selling Yell’s digital marketing solutions to local businesses across the UK. Prospecting, consulting, closing deals, and managing client relationships post-sale.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect for new business through self-sourced and company-provided leads
  • Engage in face-to-face and virtual consultations to understand customer needs
  • Recommend tailored digital marketing solutions
  • Present, negotiate, and close deals with new and existing clients
  • Drive revenue growth
  • Nurture client relationships and provide a seamless customer experience
  • Manage accounts for up to 12 months post-sale
  • Conduct in-depth data reviews to identify growth opportunities
  • Improve client ROI and deliver long-term customer success
  • Collaborate with the Field Sales team to achieve shared goals

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in sales, including Field Sales or high-performing telesales
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Resilience and a positive outlook when overcoming objections
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
  • Experience in solution selling or SaaS desirable but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • No more than 6 points on the driving licence
