Job Description
Business Operations Analyst solving cross-functional problems for a transportation management software startup serving K-12 school districts. Automating operating processes with AI, tooling, and measurable solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Own ambiguous, cross-functional business problems from diagnosis through implementation and measurement
- Design operating cadences, ownership models, SOPs, and decision rules
- Reduce manual operational work through tooling, automation, and AI agents
- Deliver special projects based on quarterly business priorities
- Work across Product and Engineering, Customer Experience, and Go-to-Market
- Use AI to research, draft, analyze, build, and test
- Understand processes manually before automating them
- Hand operational processes to the teams that own them
- Work alongside senior leaders on critical business problems
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of professional experience, preferably in management consulting, investment banking, or business operations in a SaaS company
- AI-first approach to work
- Hands-on experience with Claude Code
- Experience using AI for research, analysis, drafting, building, and testing
- Highly analytical and structured problem-solving ability
- Ability to decompose vague problems into frameworks and measure them quantitatively
- Strong Excel modelling skills
- Systems-thinking ability
- Strong communication skills and executive presence
- Concise, structured, and credible communication with senior stakeholders
- Excellent written English
- Full daily overlap with Eastern Time
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with high autonomy
