Job Description

Business Systems Analyst improving The Standard’s insurance processes, systems, reporting, and data solutions. Supporting implementations, testing, automation, and stakeholder requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business processes and system needs to identify solutions and improvement opportunities
  • Gather, document, and validate business and system requirements
  • Support system implementations, enhancements, configurations, and automations
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and data insights to support decision-making
  • Coordinate testing and troubleshoot issues
  • Partner with stakeholders and vendors to resolve system challenges
  • Improve processes, systems, and data solutions supporting organizational goals
  • Enhance efficiency, customer experience, and operational performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • BSA III: 4+ years of experience in business analysis, systems administration, project management, loan administration, data management, or related financial services environments
  • BSA IV: 8+ years of experience in business analysis, systems administration, project management, loan administration, data management, or related financial services environments
  • Experience gathering business requirements, analyzing complex business processes, and delivering technology-based solutions
  • Advanced proficiency in at least two of: Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, SQL Server, TOAD, VBA, Agile methodology, Lean methodology, SDLC principles and practices, GIS, XML, or HTML
  • Experience with data, reporting, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives
  • Experience in commercial mortgage lending, investment operations, or related financial services functions
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications, system implementations, or automation initiatives
  • Knowledge of Agile and Lean practices for continuous improvement and project delivery
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional business and technology teams
  • Ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and recommend solutions to improve business outcomes
  • Must satisfy criminal background investigation and employment, education, and licensing verification requirements
  • Must be bondable
