Job Description
Custom Jewelry Project Manager at CustomMade, working with clients to design unique jewelry pieces. Collaborating with design teams and managing project timelines for successful customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining customer relationships: Work closely with new and existing customers through online messaging.
- Sharing design and material expertise: Understand key customer preferences to bring their design ideas to life.
- Managing the overall success of your projects: Approach each project individually to make the design and development process fun and easy for the customer.
- Contributing to internal development: Review communication techniques, technical guidance, and project strategy feedback with your manager.
Requirements:
- Excellent written communication skills
- Client-facing experience in sales, hospitality, luxury retail, or account management
- A passion for jewelry and design
- Discerning visual taste
- Resourcefulness - the ability to make good decisions in the absence of perfect information
- Preferred but not required: A track record of achieving strong sales results
- Experience in fine jewelry sales
- Technical experience as a jewelry designer, bench jeweler, or artist
- Graduate Gemologist degree or previous Gemological Institute of America (GIA) course work
- Bachelor’s degree from a competitive college/university
