Job Description

Customs Import Manager overseeing iFIT’s U.S. and global import compliance operations. Managing customs clearance, broker partnerships, classifications, audits, and evolving trade regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage iFIT's global import compliance operations, with primary focus on U.S. customs clearance
  • Develop and execute audit and valuation processes, including physical assisted components, tooling, and freight assists
  • Manage and improve reconciliation programs for flagged entries, including post-entry audits
  • Oversee HTS classification reviews and maintain the classification database
  • Lead customs broker partner RFPs
  • Design processes and systems for compliance with U.S. and international customs laws and regulations
  • Supervise and coordinate trade compliance and brokerage team activities
  • Serve as primary contact for customs authorities and resolve complex issues
  • Collaborate with customs officials, shippers, and stakeholders on trade compliance issues
  • Monitor regulatory changes and improve processes
  • Manage global import/export activities across the USA and support other operating regions
  • Oversee trade documentation, risk mitigation, compliance manuals, SOPs, compliance committee initiatives, ACE Portal activities, country-of-origin reviews, and post-entry audits

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in import, customs compliance, or trade management
  • Experience with ACE Portal, trade compliance systems, and SAP
  • Deep understanding of U.S. customs regulations, tariffs, and trade laws
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) license preferred
  • Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or equivalent trade compliance certification considered
