Job Description

District Manager overseeing pharmaceutical representatives, hospital access, performance development, and market activities. Managing VIP engagement, training, reporting, and regional sales execution across China.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct joint visits with sales representatives and analyze and document the visits afterward
  • Manage personnel performance and regional market planning and evaluation
  • Participate in PIM departmental meetings and regional meetings
  • Conduct quarterly performance development reviews and monthly performance evaluations for each representative
  • Set and track quarterly access for new and key products in tertiary and secondary hospitals
  • Evaluate regional performance quarterly, assign performance levels based on achievement rates, and implement follow-up actions
  • Coordinate field training and assessments, improving representatives' visit skills or capabilities weekly
  • Track representatives' target doctors and continued use of classroom-training skills
  • Attend and evaluate at least one representative product presentation weekly
  • Assess product presentations for hospital access, sales and new-patient prescription growth, target-doctor growth, and focus on major hospitals
  • Lead weekly regional meetings covering product knowledge, business skills, business reviews, plans, activities, important information, product usage, and feedback
  • Conduct monthly VIP and government-official visits
  • Report product and market conditions and coordinate approved market activities with product and regional managers
  • Ensure eight hours of effective daily visits within the region and maintain availability from 8:00 to 22:00
  • Manage reports

Requirements:

  • Must maintain the required visit, performance-management, market-planning, meeting, VIP-visit, reporting, and administrative schedules
  • Must conduct at least 8 hours of effective visits within the assigned region each day
  • Must keep the phone on and remain fully reachable for the company and customers from 8:00 to 22:00
  • Must perform written records and follow-up for representative visits, performance reviews, coaching, product presentations, and activities
  • Must track representative performance, target doctors, new products, key products, and hospital access in tertiary and secondary hospitals
  • Must coordinate field training and assessments with the training manager under the regional manager's guidance
  • Must participate in weekly regional meetings and product presentations
  • Must visit relevant VIPs monthly, including hospital presidents, vice presidents, pharmacy directors, academic leaders, and key experts
  • Must visit relevant government officials monthly with commercial personnel
  • Must report product business and market conditions monthly to the regional manager and copy the product manager
  • Must obtain product manager and regional manager approval for market activities and settle expenses within one month after financial payment
