Job Description
District Manager overseeing pharmaceutical sales representatives, hospital access, training, and regional market performance. Managing VIP engagement, market activities, reporting, and daily field visits in China.
Responsibilities:
- Spend 50% of time conducting joint visits with representatives; analyze and document visits afterward
- Spend 20% of time on personnel performance management and regional market planning and evaluation
- Spend 10% of time participating in PIM internal meetings
- Spend 10% of time visiting VIPs and relevant departments
- Spend 10% of time attending regional meetings and completing and following up on forms, administrative, and other work
- Conduct quarterly performance development reviews and planning with each representative
- Conduct monthly performance evaluations, create improvement plans, and maintain written records
- Set and track quarterly access for new and priority products in tier-three and tier-two hospitals
- Conduct quarterly performance assessments for the assigned region and implement follow-up actions
- Coordinate field training and assessments with the training manager under the regional manager's guidance
- Improve at least one daily visit skill or capability for each representative weekly and document it
- Track 10% of each representative's target doctors and follow up on continued use and improvement of classroom training skills
- Attend and evaluate at least one representative product presentation each week
- Hold weekly regional meetings covering product knowledge, business skills, business reviews, plans, activities, important information, product usage, and feedback
- Visit relevant VIPs monthly, including hospital leaders, pharmacy directors, academic leaders, and key experts
- Visit relevant government officials monthly with commercial staff
- Report monthly product business and market conditions to the regional manager and copy the product manager
- Discuss market activities with representatives, develop plans, obtain product and regional manager approval, monitor effectiveness and return on investment, and settle expenses within one month of payment
- Perform 8 hours of effective visits within the assigned region each day
- Remain reachable by phone from 8:00 to 22:00
- Manage reports
