Job Description
Data Reporting Analyst II producing actionable reports for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey's health insurance operations. Involved in report writing, data analysis, and stakeholder collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, write, and present utilization and cost containment reports
- Determine or agree upon deliverables with customer
- Liaison with IT/vendor and customer
- Perform analysis on data: forecasting, modeling, regression
- Mine data from appropriate system
- Present data and provide feedback to client and customer
- Develop relationships with subject matter experts (SME)
- Seek and adopt best practices in data reporting
- Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by Management
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Minimum 4 years experience in health insurance
- 2 years data reporting experience preferred
- Exposure to SAS and SQL systems preferred
- Strong PC skills
- Intermediate database management skills preferred
- Understanding interdependencies among data
