Job Description
Cisco leader shaping Americas business intelligence and analytics strategy. Leading analysts, AI engineers, and data scientists to modernize sales insights and automation.
Responsibilities:
- Set the vision, direction, developmental roadmaps, and success behaviors for the Business Intelligence & Analytics organization
- Advise leadership and coach the BIA team
- Modernize Business Intelligence approaches and own strategic analytics
- Drive automation and deliver field analytics through PowerBI, Executive Console, SalesAI Assistant, and other mediums
- Lead Business Analysts, AI Engineers, and Data Scientists
- Design the Americas analytical framework and ensure appropriate data infrastructure for insights
- Build and empower an organization capable of data modeling, design, and meaningful visualization creation
- Leverage AI capabilities to automate, inform, and empower the salesforce
- Communicate business direction and results across product business units and executive leadership teams
- Build relationships with Finance, CETO, Revenue Intelligence, Business Operations, and other Cisco organizations
- Engage cross-functional teams to understand business strengths and opportunities and align actions
- Report to the Senior Director, Strategy and Planning
Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience in a combination of Sales Business Intelligence & Analytics and Operations
- Strong business acumen
- Minimum BA/BS degree; MBA or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience using Business Intelligence visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView, Einstein Analytics, and Looker
- Experience creating and automating enterprise-scale dashboards
- Experience using or implementing Generative AI preferred
- Extensive development experience with PowerBI, Tableau, and/or other Business Intelligence tools
- Familiarity with advanced SQL, Python, DAX, or other BI languages
- Experience developing data models and orchestrating data from multiple sources
- Experience with Americas territory design, sales structure, business entities/products, and overall hierarchy
- Experience capturing stakeholder business requirements and translating them into actionable insights
- Familiarity with Cisco data systems including SAP HANA, Snowflake, and Teradata
- Familiarity with CRM systems including Salesforce and Gong
- Familiarity with forecasting systems including NGF
- Understanding of AI and automation tools such as Circuit, Cursor, Claude, and Git
- Proven experience leading large, cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with Agile or similar project management frameworks preferred
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Experience producing executive-level content and conducting executive-level conversations
- Candidate must be located in the East/Central Region
