Job Description
Senior Analyst developing Power BI dashboards and SQL reporting for Evergreen Nephrology’s value-based kidney-care model. Translating healthcare data into operational insights and patient-outcome improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Report to the Manager of Reporting & Analytics as an individual contributor
- Collaborate with business partners to gather reporting and analytics requirements for operational and clinical efficiency
- Validate data accuracy and quality in analytics and reporting outputs
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and Advanced Analytics to transform raw data into metrics and insights
- Design and create analytics dashboards and operational reports using visualization tools such as Power BI
- Train end users on newly deployed dashboards and deliverables
- Support enhancements and maintenance of deployed dashboards and deliverables
- Manage internal and external timelines for data reporting
- Identify and track report issues, including logic defects, data quality problems, and process errors
- Maintain documentation for reports and dashboards, including KPI definitions and data sources
- Develop data-based solutions and tools that drive company performance and patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data science, statistics, public health, economics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a reporting or health economics environment in the health care industry
- 1+ years developing dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Strong SQL skills required
- Experience developing data models or partnering with data engineering teams to create scalable, analytics-ready datasets
- Health care industry experience; value-based care preferred
- Hands-on knowledge of turning data into relevant reports and visualizations
- Strong organizational, analytical, multi-tasking, documentation, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form to a diverse audience
- Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills
- Working understanding of healthcare privacy and security practices
- High curiosity and a growth mindset
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Teams
- Able to work effectively in a primarily remote environment
- Home internet supporting at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload; cable, fiber, or hardwired DSL recommended
- Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
- Master’s degree, expertise in SQL and Python, healthcare data experience, and value-based care experience preferred
