Job Description

Design & Marketing Specialist developing visually compelling marketing materials for CaRMS. Collaborating on brand-aligned communications and managing digital marketing assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce high-quality, branded marketing and communications materials, including presentations, social media graphics, brochures, reports, email assets, infographics, and event materials
  • Create visually engaging content for internal and external audiences while ensuring alignment with brand standards
  • Maintain and evolve templates, brand resources, and design systems to ensure visual consistency and efficiency
  • Review and edit materials for visual accuracy, consistency, accessibility, and overall quality
  • Support the planning and execution of marketing and communications campaigns across multiple channels
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Support event marketing initiatives, including signage, collateral, promotional materials, and digital assets
  • Support the team with digital marketing assets for email, web, and social platforms
  • Collaborate with internal team to understand communication goals and deliver effective creative solutions
  • Build, maintain, and optimize automated marketing workflows to improve efficiency and consistency
  • Maintain clean, accurate, and well-structured CRM and marketing data to support reporting and automation
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality work within established timelines
  • Coordinate with and manage external vendors for specialized or large-scale projects, as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 2+ years of work experience in design, marketing, or creative communications
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (eg: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere)
  • Experience using tools such as Asana, Microsoft 365, WordPress, MailChimp
  • Demonstrated experience, through a portfolio, of creating content for digital platforms
  • Experience working in a not-for-profit organization
  • Strong understanding of branding, layout, typography, and visual storytelling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a team environment
