Job Description

Director building analytics, dashboards, and adoption metrics for College Board’s digital assessment operations. Driving data-informed improvement across 15+ product teams and ProdOps initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and build product metrics dashboards tracking roadmap maturity, Productboard field completeness, and roadmap change patterns across 15+ Digital Product teams
  • Partner with Product leaders and PM/POs to define healthy metrics, baselines, and targets
  • Design self-serve dashboards for product teams
  • Prepare executive-ready dashboards with minimal Senior Director oversight
  • Identify data gaps and partner on tooling standards
  • Build and maintain a framework measuring adoption of ProdOps ways of working and change-management effectiveness
  • Define adoption metrics for major ProdOps initiatives
  • Diagnose adoption gaps and recommend, design, and drive interventions
  • Track awareness, behavior-change, and leading and lagging adoption signals
  • Maintain product and ProdOps dashboards and ensure data accuracy and currency
  • Establish metric-definition governance standards and conduct data-quality audits
  • Document metric definitions, calculation methods, and data sources
  • Coach PM/POs and ProdOps team members to interpret and act on metrics
  • Design data-literacy coaching approaches and identify patterns of metric misinterpretation or neglect

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in product analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis within a digital product or technology organization
  • Experience measuring and driving organizational change, including awareness and behavior change
  • Experience defining measurements in ambiguous, evolving environments
  • Demonstrated experience building adopted dashboards and metrics frameworks
  • Strong understanding of product management practices, roadmap maturity, backlog health, and planning consistency
  • Strong data governance instincts and ability to define and document metrics precisely
  • Familiarity with Productboard, Jira, and Confluence as data sources
  • Comfort with SQL and APIs to extract and validate data
  • Strong coaching and communication skills for translating data to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to travel 5–7 times a year to College Board offices or on College Board business
