Job Description
Director role leading EMEA High Velocity Account Executive team at MariaDB. Responsible for driving high-volume sales and team performance in Romania.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the weekly and monthly forecast submission for the team
- Serve as the primary point of contact for deal escalations
- Ensure the team's adherence to all sales processes and CRM hygiene
- Provide daily, hands-on coaching and mentoring to the team
- Set clear expectations and conduct regular 1:1 meetings
- Lead recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of sales talent
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture
Requirements:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in sales
- 5+ years in a sales leadership/management capacity
- Track record of managing a sales team to exceed revenue targets
- Experience in regional sales management
- Strong coaching and people development skills
- Expert-level knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or related field is preferred
